Leslie Bruce Buchanan, 69, passed away on Friday, November 13th, 2020. There will be no memorial as the family is following his wishes to be cremated and have a private celebration of life. His cremation will be conducted at Resthaven Funeral Home. Les was born September 30th, 1951 in Artesia, N.M. He served in the military from 1969-1972. He met his wife, Sue Buchanan in 1978 & between them they have 5 children and raised 1 daughter together. He worked for Heath trucking company for 20 years. He was a strong hunterman and enjoyed camping & fishing with his wife. He is survived by his mother, Faye Buchanan, His 3 brothers, Bob Buchanan, John Buchanan & Todd Buchanan, His wife of 42 years, Sue Buchanan, His 3 daughters, Barbara Young, Her husband Jerrel Young, Amanda Gailey, Her husband Chad Gailey, & Tracy Diggs, Her husband Matt Diggs, 6 Grandchildren, 3 Reside in Lubbock, Texas, Scott Speckman, His wife Alex Jimenez, Stephanie Foster, Her wife Mica Foster, & April Evans, & 10 great grandchildren. Les was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Buchanan & 2 brothers, Rocky Buchanan & Jim Buchanan.
