Juan A. Robledo

Juan A. Robledo a man full of life and compassion for everyone he met. A little bit of spark and a whole lot of skill that made him an inspiration and mentor to his family, close friends and the many individuals he worked with. He loved working and made a career with Hamilton Construction for 33 years but not quite ready for full retirement went back and worked for Texas Tech Health Science Center for 5 more. Proud of accomplishments big and small for himself but more importantly those of the people he loved. “Papa” loved life!

He began his life journey on August 21, 1937 with his parents Adolpho and Ausencion Robledo in New Braunfels, TX and lived life to the fullest. He went home on January 25, 2022 to be with our Lord whom he loved and served faithfully.

Juan is survived by his wife of 23 years, Guadalupe Robledo, a son Lionel Robledo, five step children, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, one sister, three brothers, and many people who love him dearly.

“I mean” we are going to miss our “Papa”!

A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Resthaven Funeral Home from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. A rosary will begin at 6:00PM. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 5802 22nd Street, Lubbock, Texas 79407, at 10:00AM with a burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
