On November 5th, 2022, James "JIM" Francis Jarman, loving husband, father, and Papa, passed away peacefully in the city of Lubbock, Texas. Jim is preceded in death by his loving wife Linda of 49 years, and is survived by his two children Dawn and her husband Jim Burke of Lubbock, Texas and Jason and his wife Tammy Jarman of Charleston, South Carolina, along with his five grandchildren Taylor, Jace, McKenna, Abigail and Jackson.
Jim was born in Kinston, North Carolina and grew up in Leesburg, Florida. He was known as a generous, light-hearted and compassionate soul. He loved the simple things in life and spending time with his precious family. He proudly served in the United States Airforce from 1961 to 1965. Jim was a Master Mason and was a wonderful example of a mason. As so many can attest to, Jim was always someone who had time for others and always loved to help those in need.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends and always remembered in their hearts.
A celebration of life for James will be held Friday, November 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Resthavens' Abbey Chapel, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas.
