A Memorial Services for Grace Marie Eastus, 86 of Lubbock, will be at 1 pm on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Resthaven. Grace went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 13th.
Grace was born on December 26, 1925 in Hamlin, TX to Oscar and Alpha Lee Rodgers. She married Harry O Eastus in Monahans, on August 9, 1943. She was a Baptist, a Toastmistress, and member of Eastern Star, Meadowbrook Women’s Golf Association, and Lubbock Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Harry; her children, Harriet McCullers of Lubbock, Helen Holm and Harry O Eastus, II, both of California, and Paul Eastus of Burleson, TX; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Interim Hospice, 3305 101st St, Ste 100, Lubbock, 79423.
