Mr. Scott spent several years as a lead packer and truck driver in the moving industry. He enjoyed collecting junk, garage sales, and especially the annual camping and fishing trips with his son and grandsons.
Garvin is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bessy, a sister, Kay Hennessy, a son, Danny Scott, and a daughter, JoAnn Scott.
Left to cherish his memory are son, Michael Scott and wife Nita of Lubbock, a brother, Dewey Scott and wife Sandra of Lubbock, 5 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many friends.
