Dorothy Ann Cox

Dorothy Ann Cox 97 of Lubbock, Texas passed away Thursday October 5, 2023. She was born on August 4 1926 in Morrill, Kansas to Otto and Sara Fike. Dorothy retired from the United States Postal Service Office. She was a member of many organizations. The Convenient and Highland Hospital Auxiliary, the Red Hats, ABWA, DOES and NAPS.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husbands W H Curry and Floyd Cox; son Jeff Curry and brother Bob Fike. She is survived by her children Don Curry (Judy); James Curry; Billy Curry (Kimberley);Teresa Pierce (Rusty); Dimmie Keys (Roger); Robby Cox (Shannon) and Carrol Cox; brother Bill Fike (Jackie); Charles Fike ( Patsy); sister Sharon McCall;17 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 West 19th St, Lubbock, TX. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Monterey Baptist Church, 3601 50th St, Lubbock, TX. A graveside will follow Resthaven Memorial Park, Lubbock, TX.
