In loving memory of Bud Hodges, a Vietnam Veteran and avid hunter. He could not wait for dove, Deer and turkey season. Hunting was his passion he also loved special quotes and books of jokes. Bud was a Master Mason for 53 Years at Yellow Stone Mason Lodge #841 in Lubbock, Texas. He was confident, caring, loving and sincere. He would help anyone with anything.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Oletta Hodges, Sisters; Gail Roberson, Frostie Eslinger, and Pat Drake. Brother; Wayne Hodges. Daughter; Carol Ortega, Dana Edwards, and Amanda “Odie” Irlbeck Grandchildren; Cody Baker and wife Erin, Ashlea Freeman and husband Tim, Corey Morris and wife Maureen, Caz Edwards and wife Lauren, Casey Edwards, Tristan Irlbeck, and many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild as well as many loved family members and friends.
A graveside service for Donnie will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 5740 W 19th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79407.
