Charles Edward McMillan, age 82, of Lubbock, died Sunday September 25, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 24, 1934 to the late Charlie and Hessie Belle (Morgan) McMillan, in Silver Valley, TX.
Charles proudly served in the US Army. He married the love of his life, Illa B. Wagner, in 1959, together they raised two children. He was a member of Sunset Church of Christ. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Illa B. McMillan.
He is survived by his son, Thomas McMillan; daughter Charla (Ron) Martinez; grandchildren, Nichole Villarreal, Lori Garcia, Brandon Martinez (and his wife Tara), Thomas Martinez, Sarah Perez (and her husband Frankie); great grandchildren, Zane Martinez, Nathaniel Garcia, Gavin Perez, Anessa Garcia, Tristan Martinez, Antonio Perez, Anniston Perez, and many close friends he considered family.
