Brenda Boyd

Brenda was born on November 10, 1953, in Lovington, New Mexico, to T.D.(Doc) and Dorothy Lester Roberts. Brenda graduated from Brownfield High School. She married Jim Boyd on February 19, 1986, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made countless memories with their three boys, Calvin Farrar, Corey Farrar, and Bradley Boyd.

Brenda had a career in real estate and went on to be a partner at her late husband’s business, J&B Trailers and Equipment, Inc. in Odessa, Texas. Brenda was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and Nana. She had a passion for her grandbabies. From decorating their playhouse, making scrapbooks, to helping them decorate for Christmas, she loved them so much. Brenda’s favorite hobby was to travel. She and her beloved friends would often have drinks on the patio while they planned the most fun girl trips.

Brenda was survived by her sons, Calvin Farrar and wife, Brienne, of Sundown, Corey Farrar of Austin, and Bradley Boyd of Lubbock; one brother, Kenneth Roberts and wife, Cathy, of Cody, Wyoming, one sister, Sandra Moore of Throckmorton, Texas; her grandchildren, Layken and Landry Farrar of Sundown, and Channing Boyd of Lubbock, and many nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Dorothy Roberts, her husband Jimmy Boyd, her grandson Lane Farrar, and her brother Jackie Roberts.

Funeral services will be 10am, Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock, Texas.
