Beverly was born May 25, 1954 in Nocona, Texas to JD and Catherine Davis. She graduated from Coronado High School and attended Texas Tech University.
After working at Texas Instruments and Syncor Nuclear Pharmacy, she pursued her dream of becoming a self-employed hair stylist and retired in 2008.
Beverly enjoyed restoring old furniture, collecting antique glassware, and being with family. She had a natural gift for gardening and took pride in making things grow. There was a special place in her heart for neglected animals; she rescued many and helped find homes for them.
Waiting for Beverly in heaven is her daddy, JD Davis, and the love of her life, Stephen (Buck) Williams. She had recently mourned the loss of her fur babies, Pepper, 16, and Bella, 15. Survivors include her mother, Catherine Davis, siblings Rhonda Green (Ricky), Teresa Ritchey (Paul), Steven Davis (Cindy), and Lynda Draper (Brad), all of Lubbock. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
A special thank you to the nurses and doctors at UMC MICU for their compassionate care and dedication.
Donations in Beverly’s honor may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation through their website, scleroderma.org, or to your favorite animal rescue shelter. Online condolences can be made through the Resthaven website.
