Betty Holloway Mullins, 85 of Wolfforth, passed away on Sunday, May 26th, at her residence. She was born on April 1, 1934 in Troup, Texas to the late Lester Jake and Lillie May Sanders. She married Dayton Holloway and during their 38 year union they shared two children, Dwight and Mary Ann, until Dayton's passing. Later on she met Johnny Mullins, and they were married for 31 years.
Betty had several hobbies including crocheting, reading, making Afghans, doll pillows, angels and different Christmas related things. She was an avid Bible reader and she enjoyed listening to gospel music.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; brothers, Bobby and MC Sanders; and sister, Maxcine Grizzell.
Those left to cherish her memory are husband, Johnny Magarel Mullins, Jr.; her children: Dwight Holloway and Mary Ann Sanders, and husband Ricky, all of Lubbock; grandchildren Roxann Trotter, Christina Pandolfo, Diane Dalton, and James Brandon Sanders and wife, Lindsey; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Joe Sanders and wife, Linda.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28th from 6-7 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 2 pm in Resthaven Memorial Park, Lubbock, TX with grandson, James Brandon Sanders, officiating.
