Ron Sellers, age 66, of Loveland, Colorado passed away on Wednesday November 14, 2018. Ron was born July 23, 1952 in Sigourney, Iowa to Ruth Moore ODonnell and Harold Sellers. He attended Ankeny High School in Ankeny, Iowa. Upon the completion of his schooling he worked several years for Northwestern railroad and a steel company in Des Moines. He also was an accomplished carpenter and landscaper, retiring in 2014. He moved to Colorado in 1995 and enjoyed the outdoor lifestyle with his second wife, Kimberly Bowers whom he married on December 9, 1995 in Fort Collins. He spent the next fifteen years showing his step-children how he has fun in Colorado. Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors and hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park and living his life to the fullest. Family was always first and foremost in his heart.
Ron is survived by his spouse of 22 years, Kim Sellers; son Steven Sellers; step-son Donovan Helm; step-son Connor Helm; daughter Shannon (Gary) McIntire; and step-daughter Taylor Helm; mother Ruth ODonnell; brother Richard Sellers, brother Gary Sellers, sister Connie Dye-Luffmann, sister Lois Eaton and sister Bonnie Payne; grandchild Caleb Brendlinger.
Ron was preceded in death by; father Harold Sellers.
A memorial service for Ron will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Allnutt Funeral Service – Hunter Chapel, 2100 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, Colorado 80538.
