Makayla Marie Lawrence, age 20, was born on December 12, 2003 in McCook, Nebraska to Ashley Marie Widener and Timothy Joseph Lawrence.
She resided between Loveland and Thornton, Colorado. She touched everyone's hearts everywhere. She had the brightest smile that could light up the whole room with no lights on. She had the most beautiful soul. She was a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a best friend, and, most of all, she was a hero. She was strong, with a heart made out of the purest gold and bones made of the strongest steel. Nothing ever stopped her from being herself. Makayla always brought a smile to everyone's face. And she knew how to comfort you when times were rough.
She is survived by her parents, Ashley Widener (Lucas) and Timothy Lawrence (Julia); grandparents, Connie Lewis, Steve Weibley, and MaryAnn Weibley; siblings, Adrianne Weibley and September Turner-Hutchinson, along with several step-siblings; aunts, Shannon Jensen, Shelby Weibley, and Ramona Lewis; uncle Scott Lewis; and many extended family members. Makayla M. Lawrence will be missed deeply. She was loved by all.
