Emmett Allan Jones, 78, passed away July 17,2020. Born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, he and his wife, Sandy, moved to Loveland, CO in 2000 after retiring from Anheuser-Busch—Jacksonville. He wanted to be closer to their daughter, Blaire J. Ferguson and granddaughters, Emory Ferguson LeFebre and Mason Ferguson.
He worked part-time for Colorado Mosquito Control and later as a substitute teacher for the R2J school district. He enjoyed the Colorado outdoors skiing, hunting, fishing and hiking. He was an avid reader and lover of history. He did some volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity and also was an active volunteer for Colorado Youth Outdoors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Colorado Youth Outdoors, in memory of Allan, 4927 East County Road 36
