Bonnie was born on May 26, 1930 to Daniel and Jessie (Bucknell) Muenchau. Bonnie grew up in Alvo, Nebraska where she graduated from Alvo High School in 1947. She married Zadis “Bud” White on August 25, 1951 in Loveland. Bonnie enjoyed working at Valley Lab and Nelson Café, but her true calling was being a home maker for her husband and their 5 children.
Throughout Bonnie’s life she enjoy gardening, canning, writing, poetry, movies, and hiking. Throughout their marriage Bonnie and Bud moved around Colorado residing in Boulder, Longmont, Berthoud, and Loveland where Bonnie belonged to churches in those areas including: the Nazarene Church at Boulder, Faith Baptist of Longmont, and New Creation Church of Longmont. Bonnie was known and loved for her sweet disposition, tender spirit, wonderful smile, and great sense of humor. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; brother Ralph Meunchau, sister Ruby Brunemeier; husband Bud White; and son Mathew Ray White.
She is survived by her daughters Rebecca Crawford, Kathy Van Cleave (Jeff) Waddell, Diane (Randy) DeHerrera, Lori (Abe) Bustamante; sister-in-law Joanne Muenchau; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00am, Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Allnutt Funeral Service in Loveland with a reception immediately following. Visitation one hour prior to the service, and graveside service 2:30 pm at Foothills Garden of Memory in Longmont.
