Yolanda Jane Long, 68, of Louisville passed away on February 20, 2024. She was born on September 18, 1955 to the late Samuel and Jane Long. Survivors include her children; Jackie Henry, Kayla Long (Chad), grandchildren; Joseph Henry (Bri), Sarah Henry (Cameron), great-grandchildren; Levi Henry, Elaina Henry, brothers; Steve Long (Judy), Bill Long, sister Ida Mae Sanders, sister-in-law Michelle Long; nephews, Chris Long (Isabella) and Matt Long (Lisa) as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Yolanda worked for the Circuit Court Clerks Office and retired after 30 years of service. In her time away from the office she enjoyed going to yard sales, playing bingo, and most importantly spending time with her loved ones. She was also a lover of all things Elvis as well as watching Days of Our Lives, crime shows, and funny commercials in her beloved recliner. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
A funeral service for Yolanda will be held on Wednesday February 28, 2024 at 10am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home 2428 Frankfort Ave. Louisville, KY 40206. Visitation will be on Tuesday February 27, 2024 from 4pm-8pm at the funeral home.
