William, Bill, Hust was guided continually by his faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. Bill was a man of great love, solid integrity and a life built on prayer. He worked for many years at General Electric Appliance Park until he retired in 1988. Bill was a longtime member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, Louisville, KY, where his commitment could be witnessed by his work as an usher and his continued devotion to his Sunday school class. Bill’s kindness was measurable and meaningful; he brought both love and compassion to his marriage with his beloved wife Lee and served as an excellent father to her daughter Janice. He loved to vacation with Lee in the sunny state of Florida where they owned a second home for many years. We all know Bill as an extremely sharp dresser wearing blue as the ultimate U of K fan. Bill will be missed for his smile and because he was a very kind loving man with a huge heart. Mr. Bill is survived by his daughter, Janice Lee Robbins ( Dennis Ray); his grandson, Brent Skidmore (Cheryl Hemmer); great grandsons, Stuart and Maxwell; nephew, Randall Davis ( Gail); nieces, Kathy, Debbie, and Donna.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29th from 1-8pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A service celebrating Mr. Bill’s life will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 10am at the funeral home, with a private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy maybe directed to Walnut Street Baptist Church.
