Colvin, William “Billy” D. III, 62, entered into eternal rest on July 29, 2015. Billy was retired from Ford Motor Co. after 30 years and a member of the United Auto Workers 862. He was a coin and derby glass collector, a fan of NASCAR and UK sports and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Laverne Colvin.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 32 years, Laura Colvin; daughters, Trisha Colvin and Tiffany Endler (Justin); granddaughter, Emma Endler; father, William D. Colvin Jr.; sisters, Yvonne Owens (Mike) and Stephanie Scott (Jimmy); and a host of nieces of nephews.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Oncologist, Dr. Geetha Joseph for her excellent care and support.
A celebration of life service will be Monday at 2pm at Evergreen Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday from 2pm-8pm and Monday from 10am-2pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in memory of Billy can be made to the American Cancer Society.
