WILLIAM H. "BILL" BLEDSOE, SR., 83, of Okolona, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at VA Medical Center.
Mr. Bledsoe was a member of Parkland Baptist Church, retired from Colgate Palmolive after 38 years of service, and was a US Navy veteran who participated in Guadal Canal & Okinawa Invasions.
He was preceded in death by Cathleen, his wife of 47 years .
Survivors include his daughter, Linda K. Bledsoe; son, Bill Bledsoe Jr. (Pamela); two grandchildren.
His service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Burial is in St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
