Virginia B. Taylor, 86, of South Louisville peacefully passed from this life on Thursday July 28, 2011 at Signature South Health Care. She was the former Virginia Barton, a retired employee of South Central Bell, and a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter, Dianne O’Banion; a sister Norma Owens, and a brother, Bill Barton. She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Lois) & Gary Taylor (Kay); grandchildren, Melissa Hendricks (Tim), Stephen Taylor (Jennifer), Brian O’Banion (Cyndi), Michael Taylor (Suzanne), Chris Taylor and Nick Taylor; and 8 great grandchildren. A celebration of Mrs. Taylor’s life will be held at noon Monday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
