He was born on July 23,1954 to the late Murrel and Evelyn Roe. He is preceded in death by his infant son Thomas Roe Jr., former wife Pam Roe, sister Donna L. Roe, and brother-in-law Pete Bowen. Left to cherish his memory are his son Matt Roe (Pearla), siblings; Angie Lantz (Jim), David Roe (Paula), Sharon Bowen, Carolyn Wise (David), and granddaughter Natalie Roe. He also leaves behind his best friend Chipper, his dog Foxy and her four brothers, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Tommy attended Fairdale High School ’73 and was always very talented with his hands. He worked as a warehouse manager for Deek’s, ironworker for National Reinforcing Steel, as well as a laborer in the construction business. In his free time he could be found working on his cars whether it be the engine or body work.
A service to celebrate Tommy will be held on Thursday December 12, 2024 at 6pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Westport Village 7410 Westport Rd. Louisville, KY 40222 with visitation prior from 2pm-6pm. Burial will take place on Friday December 13, 2024 at Freedom Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, KY.
