Thomas Edward Dawson "TED", age 62, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023. Tom, or as his coworkers called him "TED", was a family man! His wife, children and grandchildren came first. He loved horse racing, Louisville football, and the San Francisco 49ers. He enjoyed watching Jeff Gordon drive, his fantasy football, and a cold Budweiser.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Margaret Dawson; in-laws, Sylvester and Doris Rogers; brother-in-law, Michael Rogers; and nephew, Ricky Stivers, Jr.
Left to cherish Tom's memory is his loving wife of 42 years, Beverly (Rogers) Dawson; children, Ashley Dawson Carlton, Justin Dawson (Emma); grandchildren, Alexus, Addison, Bennett; siblings, Garrie Dawson, Therese Stivers; and several extended family and friends.
Visitation for Tom will be Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home - Okolona, 8519 Preston Highway, 40219. The Funeral Service will be Monday, April 3, 2023 at 10:30am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, 40218.
