passed away on Friday, April 28th in Centerville, Ohio. Tammy was born to Sharon and Ray Logsdon Jr. on November 22nd, 1968 in Louisville, KY and graduated from Seneca High School class of ’87. She passed away on April 28th, 2023 in her home in Centerville, OH following an ongoing battle with medical issues.
Over the years Tammy was a loving caregiver and provider for her children, Ryan and Brittany, as well as her brothers Chris and Nick. She was silly, always supportive, cared for everyone and was even known to be protective from time to time. She was a person who believed in everyone, even when they couldn’t see it or believe in themselves.
Tammy wasn’t only loved by her family, she was beloved by her friends and her community. She enjoyed going out with her friends, riding on the back of a bike, kayaking, concerts, and Alabama sports (Roll Tide!). She loved singing in the car, traveling, and enjoying a glass of red wine or a cold Miller Light.
Tammy’s generosity did not stop at home or with her friends, as she dedicated countless hours to volunteer work and donations to Relay for Life, St. Jude and Ronald McDonald House as well as Penelope House in Daphne, AL. She was always driven by the goal to help and give to others, and encouraged those around her to do the same.
Throughout the years, Tammy displayed a work ethic that was acknowledged and respected by all those who had the good fortune of working alongside her. Over the past decade, she found great passion and enjoyment in various capacities as a U.S. Air Force defense contractor. She was very proud and driven in her career and accomplished many milestones during her defense contractor career. She just recently accepted the position of Configuration Manager III with Oasis Systems LLC and was excited about the future it held.
Tammy is preceded in death by Mary Alice “Mimi” Logsdon, Raymond Logsdon Jr., Lee and Eddie O’Daniel and her dog, Bucky, as well as many other important family and friends.
She is survived by Sharon Logsdon, her brothers Ray, Christopher “Andy” and Nicky “Bug” Logsdon, Eddie and Scott O’Daniel, sister Stephanie O’Daniel (Gary), and her children Ryan “Doodle” Smith and Brittany “Angel” Rift (Melissa), as well as her loving cat Emi.
