Shirley A. Ritter (Moody), 82, passed away April 19, 2015. She was a member of Jeffersontown Methodist Church and was a 1949 ½ Graduate of Louisville Girls High School. She was a former secretary of the Jeffersontown Elementary PTA, J-town High Band Parents, Den mother for Cub Scout Pack 75 and a Girl Scout Leader. She worked for Louisville and Jefferson Co. Civil Service before she and Don started their family.
Shirley was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Karen Lynn, and her parents, Ed and Virginia Moody.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Don Ritter, children; Robert (Hope) and Donna, a sister, Betty Dunman, grandchildren; Erin, Courtney, Kelly and Valerie, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Shirley will be conducted Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 at 10 am in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with a private interment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
