Miss Sarah Marie Bearden

Bearden, Sarah Marie, 22, born December 14, 1987 in Louisville and passed into heaven May 24, 2010 at University of Louisville Hospital, after being fatally injured in a car accident. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert S. Bearden and Frank Johnson. Sarah was a student at Spencerian College majoring in Radiology and previously graduated from Jefferson Community College, and Sacred Heart Academy in 2006 and Mother of Good Counsel in 2002. She was employed by Baskin-Robbins. Sarah was very proud to have recently completed her first Mini-Marathon along side her Mother. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Sarah will always be remembered in the hearts and minds of all that knew her as a beautiful, funny, bright and loving person. Her memory will be cherished by her parents, David and Jackie Bearden; sisters, Emily and Amanda; grandmothers, Jean K. Bearden and Mary Jeanine Johnson; 18 aunts and uncles; 30 cousins and her dog Peanut. The family would like to thank the entire staff of the CCU at University of Louisville Hospital for their care and support. Sarah's funeral mass will be held at 10:00am Saturday, May 29, 2010 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Drive. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1-8pm Friday in the parlor of Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home at Westport Road. In place of customary expressions of sympathy the family has requested memorial gifts to the St. Bernadette Catholic Church Building Fund.
