Sandi Marie Cheatham

Sandi was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Edward and Lois Ellingsworth on May 17, 1963. She went to Iroquois High School and Sullivan College. She married Dennis Cheatham on June 4, 1988 in Louisville at 9th and O Baptist Church. She worked as a dental purchasing agent for the University of Louisville School of Dentistry for 30 years.

She enjoyed crafting, gardening, and shopping (finding DEALS). She was a generous individual who always cared for others.

She is preceded in death by Lois Ellingsworth (mother) and Lisa Beasey (sister).

Sandi is survived by Dennis Cheatham (husband), Edward Ellingsworth (father), Randy (Theresa) Yates (brother), Gail Foley Mathews (sister), Tamala (Peter) Bell (sister), Debra Case (sister), and multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 3PM to 7 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218. Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, November 18, 2024 in the funeral home chapel with Brother Roger Allen of Falls of Rough Baptist Church officiating. Sandi will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
