She was born June 19, 1921 in Louisville, the daughter of the late Carl and Emma (Deisenroth) Heick. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Perry; and her second husband, Ray Leffel.
Ruth was a Home Loan Specialist with VA for many years. She was also involved with the Faith Community UCC.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Private burial will take place at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
