KING, RUTH G. LODGE (WOHNER), 79, of Louisville passed from this life on Saturday May 21, 2011 at Kindred Hospital.
She was a native of Springfield, KY, a retired nursing assistant at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital and a member of the Mt. Everest General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill King. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Kelsey (Michael) and Debra Newman; a son, Dwight Lodge Jr., sister, Artie Pierson; brothers, David, Donnie, Billy and James "Buster" Wohner; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Ruth's life will be held at noon Wednesday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
