Rosie was born on May 1, 1957 to the late James Stagg and Marie Ballard Stagg. Her aunt, Nancy Stagg and her beloved dog, Tequilla, also precede her in death.
Rosie enjoyed spending time at the lake house with her beloved husband and family. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing and boating. Rosie was a beautiful spirit who lived life to the fullest. Rosie’s sweet smile and warm heart will be missed by many.
Left to cherish Rosie’s memory is her loving husband, Jeffrey Wood; daughters, Amber Whitaker and Jessica Lardon (Ronnie); son-in-law, Mark Whitaker; grandchildren, Kyra, Keagan, Kyzan, R.J. and Jaynee.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218; with a service to honor the life of Rosie will f ollow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rosie will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
