8 years ago today Ron and I were at the Louisville baseball game and ran into my friend Chris Redman 
Ron and I had just gotten back from Thailand filming a reality show called Fantasy Island. The whole time over there he was taking about getting back to see his son. Ron loved his son like nothing else in the world. Ron was a good hearted soul. A gentle giant and I’m honored to have known him 

Ronnie will be missed by us.  He was massive in person and his personality was always so genuine and humble. He was still mourning the loss of Rhonda, the love of his life.  Mona, Rhonda’s mother was like a mother to Ronnie. Our hearts  go out to Ronnie’s family, friends as well as Mona and her family during this extremely difficult time.

I really am sadden over this I met Ronnie years ago through friends and he was such a sweet guy with a  precious smile.I want to send my condolences to his whole family esp to his son it's truly heart breaking that he has lost his dad esp at his age my prayers are with him God bless you all and I saw where his dear friend Jesse Morris said he knows he will be with God because he was saved and that there is so great to hear and now you all will have a angel that you know will watch over you (((hugs)))

Oh Ronnie my heart breaks over this. You were always so kind to me. From vacations when we were younger to our funny jokes over the holidays. Rhonda was a sister to me. I got to see the two of you grow into a beautiful love story. And for the both of you to pass so young and close to each other… I just can’t comprehend. We loved you. Mona kept me posted about you over the past few months. She loved you like a son. I will always remember the bear hugs and the smiles.  Tell my sissy I said hi, hug her tight and until we meet again, fly high! Love ya Ronnie! Prayers for your son and family.

There is much sadness in my heart after learning of Ronnie's passing. A tremendous loss for his friends, family, and community. I met Ronnie when he was young and dating my niece, Rhonda. They were going to a dance or prom if I remember correctly.  I wish I could find the picture of them from that day and remember the happiness they shared.  That picture was taken by Rhonda's mother, Mona.  They both looked so happy. Rhonda's passing in December of last year took my breath away. But now hearing that only 7 months later, the universe has taken Ronnie as well, breaks my heart.  I wish I had answers as to why people cross over so young, but I don't.  Time does heal these sorrows.  It seems like we are always running out of time. I'm so sorry I didn't get the time to say goodbye.  Rest in Paradise!


Ronnie was a special man. He was a protector.  I will really miss him and our talks.  I am sorry for his passing, and pray for his family and his friends. May the angels be with you now. Rest in peace my Big Man ..I love you ..Tell Rhonda I love her. 

I was so sorry to hear of Ronnie passing. So young, so sad. I knew and loved his long term love, Rhonda Riggs. When she passed also recently at a very young age Ronnie just couldn’t take it. My thoughts and prayers to his family and also to my friend Mona, Rhonda’s mother. She loved him like a son and they helped each other cope with Rhonda’s passing. Rest easy Ronnie and Rhonda. Love you

This picture was taken back in 2008, I believe, even though the picture says 2017. This is me giving Ron his first championship belt from the RFL.                  Ron fought for us multiple times. He was an awesome guy and will be missed. Godspeed, Ron the Monster Sparks.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Ronnie. I am so sorry for your loss.  We were old friends from the neighborhood and just about every good memory of my teenage years has him in it. I will never forget you big guy! God-Speed.

Here’s an oldie. I think we were on our way to the lake! You were one of my first loves but so much more than that- we were lifelong friends. I hate that so many years has passed without talking, but I know if we had talked it would be just like old times- I can hear you in my head saying “hey babydoll” (which was your favorite and very charming name for most women) 
You were always a fierce protector of those you loved and always made people feel safe. You were an amazing person and will be missed greatly. I know you’re happy up there with Rhonda, I just hate that it had to be so soon. RIP Bubba
