He was born in Louisville and was a current Millwright at Ford Motor Company Truck Plant. Ron was a member of Local 862, enjoyed golfing, and UK sports. His greatest passion was his children.
Here to carry on his memory are his children, Ashley Fowler and Dylan Fowler; mother, Phyllis Straus (Jim); father, Ronald Fowler, Sr.; siblings, Michael Fowler (Tonya) and Melissa Layson (Dale); wonderful grandfather, Bill Engler; aunt, Rhonda Engler Joseph (David); and uncle, Leonard Engler (Debbie); along with numerous other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will take place from 2-8pm Friday, September 22nd at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. The service will be at 2pm Saturday at the funeral home, there will be visiting from 1-2pm Saturday.
