Ronald E. Forrest Sr., 80, of Louisville, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 17, 2014. He was born December 23, 1933 to the late Eugene and Pauline Huffman Forrest. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Schnell.
Ron is survived by his wife of 58 years, Norma Forrest, a daughter, Julie Clark (Bobby) and a son, Ronald Forrest Jr. (Debbie), seven grandchildren: Diana, Chris, Stephanie, Jenny, Erica, Jeff and Kristina, seven great-grandchildren: Chase, Cody, Casey, Everett, Brody, Abbey and Anthony, a sister, Barbara Sangalli (Gene), a brother, Larry Forrest and son-in-law, Mike Schnell (Laura)
A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
