Ronald Clarkson Sr., 66, of Louisville passed away Monday, March 21, 2016. He was born May 10, 1949 to Jeanette and the late Charles Clarkson. He retired from the Louisville Police Department with 21 years of service and ADT Security. He was a member of St. Athanasius, FOP, and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Ronald was an avid UL fan and loved to travel and “Cruise” with his wife. He loved all of the family gatherings with his large family and especially those grandchildren. He lived life to its fullest and most of all loved his family first.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna, of 48 years; daughters, Lisa Armstrong (Eric), Shannon McGee (Mo), Tonia Isabel (Tommy), and his son, Ron Jr (Jessica), mother Jeanette, sister Judy Green (Larry), brother Danny, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild due in July, a large family and many friends.
Funeral Mass will be 11am Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Athanasius Catholic Church with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 1-8 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
