She was the food service director at the old Rice Audubon Center. Roberta was a member of the old Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church where she was in the Marian Guild. She was an avid bunco player, seamstress and baker.
She was preceded in rest by her son, Ricky Durbin, and a sister, Sugar Holweger.
Mrs. Durbin is survived by her two daughters, Rita Thomas (Philip) and Rhonda Gritton; five grandchildren, Christina (Danny), Courtney, Scotty, Caleigh (Zach) and Christian; five great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Johnson (Woody); and a brother, Edward Whitman,Jr.
Her funeral will be on Tuesday at 12 noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 2pm-8pm.
