Robert E. Owens

Robert E. Owens, age 86 passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Robert was born February 27, 1936 the son of Harlan Owens and Verna Mae Tackett Owens. Bob enjoyed vacationing in Maui, golf, all UK sports and in his younger years fishing. He was an Eagle Scout.

Bob is predeceased by his parents Mae & Harlan Owens and son, Stuart Owens.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Evelyn Owens, Beth Ann & (John) Beccaccio, Matthew Robert Owens & (Teresa), Deborah Miller, Jeff & (Deniece) Krebs, wife of Stuart, Sheri Owens, twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren

A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. The services will be done by Northeast Christian Church.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Alzheimer's Research or Hosparus of Louisville.
