He was born May 25, 1928 in Chicago, IL, the son of Stanley and Martha (Kulpit) Knasiak. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Linda Ginn and three siblings.
Robert had worked as a dark room technician at Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago, IL. He also enjoyed bowling and amateur radio.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elaine Knasiak; daughter, Linda Zimmerman; step-children, Keith Snow (Stacie), Donna Roedersheimer (Sonny), and Debra Worthen; nine grandchildren, Tina, Loren, William, Paul, Jason, Ashley, John, Brittany and Trevor; two sisters, Patricia Knasiak and Dorothy Krueger; one brother, James Knasiak; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Cremation was selected and no services are planned at this time.
