He was one of my favorite bosses at Frisch's. I learned a lot from him and he always kept us laughing. He will be missed!

I worked with Rick for over ten years at Frisch’s. He was one of a kind to put it mildly. I learned a lot from him. He was always smiling and laughing, it was contagious. Prayers for family and friends of his, my condolences are with you all!

Krista, sorry to hear of your loss.  You and your family our in my thoughts and prayers! 

For as long as I can remember visiting you and Aunt Krista for Christmas has always been a tradition. You have always been a joy to be around.  You could always make someone laugh or bring a smile to their face at any time. It has been a blessing to have you in my life for the time that I have. I will dearly miss the conversations that we have had and the holidays will not be the same without you. 

Uncle Rick, the memory of you that sticks out the most to me. Is the trip up north to Grandpa's burial that us older boys got to take with you. You insisted we all go with you and I thank you for that because you turned a tragic moment in our lives into one full of silly jokes, smiles and laughter. When that had to be just as difficult for you as well because I know he meant just as much to you as he did us. Although that is my fondest memory of you but looking back every memory of you has been the same full of love and laughter. You will always be missed dearly.

The past week has been a very hard one for my family, and for myself. Tomorrow will be very hard as well. I realized today that it hasn't hit me just yet the I lost my Uncle Rick. Today, my brother asked me a question about who was all coming to meet up, and without missing a beat I said "Krista, and Rick" and then I paused. My whole life, it's always been "Krista and Rick". I mean, I don't remember much from when I was a kid...my brothers did a number on knocking me in the head (not necessarily intentionally...they just either can't aim, or don't look before they swing a bat🤣)...anyhow...one thing I certainly remember, is Christmas at Krista and Rick's. It was a place that you could just....be happy. It didn't matter that it was Christmas, it didn't matter what was behind the wrapping paper. You just, were there... surrounded by love. No matter where you went in that home... someone was there, you were surrounded by family, and it is something that I always looked forward to. As I got older, I didn't go as often, and that's something I regret now looking back. I went a few years back for the first time in a while...and instantly felt the same way even now, all those years later, and it was still the same feeling from when I was younger. It's a memory, and a feeling that will last my lifetime. Uncle Rick, I love you dearly. 

I will allow cherish the Christmas days I had the pleasure of spending with Uncle Rick. We would always talk about random things and he would always end up bringing out his newest toy or gadget he had gotten. He would show my husband, Josh and I how it worked. I will never forget his smile and his goofball laugh. He always had a way of cheering you up and making you smile. Christmas will never be the same now. 

I have alot of memories of Uncle Rick but mostly I remember how funny and great of a man you were. I spent quite a bit of time at your house growing up with Erik and you were always so wonderful. Seeing you on Christmas was always a highlight of the year. Always making me laugh and talking random stuff. You will be greatly missed Uncle Rick.

I have so many wonderful memories of my brother in law (more like brother)Rick. Always enjoyed Christmas at their house and was blessed to spend a week with Rick and Krista in his happy place yes Disney. I will always have the best memories of the most kindhearted, fun loving, wonderful since of humor who would always make you laugh. I will miss you with all my heart Rick until we meet again.

I have so many favorite memories, from him being santa, to him and I going to the gun range. One of my favorites would probably be my 16th birthday. My Dad was going to pick up my friends to bring them over, but he got called in to work. I was so upset that he told them that he was going to be late, and he still made my day special. I'll never forget that.
