Rick Miles, 68, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023. He loved helping everyone – whether it be at work or a hobby or just someone needing his help – Rick was there! He was a UofL fan and enjoyed sports, especially loved Cardinal football. Rick was very organized keeping things neat and clean and in their place. He loved the ocean and beach. His all-time favorite activity was anything to do with family! Rick loved his family!
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Ardine and Lucille Miles; and his brother, Curtis Miles.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving partner, Theresa Owens; her children, Anthony, Anna, and Sylvia; siblings, Jim Miles, Irene Kilner (Teddy), Margaret Wallace, Anna Swartz (Willis), Keith Miles (Pam), Joe Miles; several nieces and nephews, extended family and loving friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Gabriel the Archangel, 5505 Bardstown Rd. 40291, on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington. Visitation will be Sunday from 2pm until 8pm at Arch L Heady Funeral Home – Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy. 40219
Memorial donations in Rick’s honor should be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Center or St Vincent de Paul.
