Richard Vernon Watson Sr., 74, entered into rest Monday June 13, 2022. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Charles and Beatrice (Wright) Watson and his brothers, Chuck Watson and Bobby Gay. Richard was a member of West Point Baptist Church also 1181 VFW Post. Richard served in the United States Marine Corp and was a Vietnam Veteran. He leaves behind his family to cherish his memories a Wife, Jennie Watson, Sons, William Walker, Dale Reader, Richard Watson, a Daughter, Wendy Holloway, His Sisters, Beverly Tillman and Patty Riggs, and 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 2pm at the Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, with memorial visitation being held after 10am on Saturday until time of service.
