Richard D. Logsdon, 86 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday July 4th, 2017.
He retired from LG&E after 26 years of service. Richard served his country as a member of the Navy during the Korean War and played steel guitar in the Navy band at the Norfolk, VA base. Richard was also a member of Highview Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He had a passion for music and enjoyed being a member of the Louisville Metro Steel Guitar Club.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 60 years, Goldie Logsdon; children: Susan Price (Gary) and Kenneth Logsdon (Trena); grandchildren: Sarah Price-Rigney, Christopher Price, Lauren Price, Bradley Price, and Ricky Logsdon; and 3 great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be held Friday July 7th, 2017 at 12pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday July 6th, 2017 from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
