He was a member of Fern Creek Christian Church and an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Logan Company after 40 years of dedication.
Quincy Ray loved country music, Corvettes, and caring for his beautiful lawn. He will be so greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce Neagle Williams; brother, LeRoy Williams; sister-in-law, Beverly Denton (Don); nieces and nephews, Marvin T. Mattingly, Ricky Mattingly (Iris), Teresa Sowders (Buck), Pam Rigdon, John Neagle (Tammy), Jennifer Fugate (Jeff), Michael Saxton (Ralna), Derrick Neagle (Candace), Amanda Watt (Derek); and several great nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in passing were his parents, and his brother, Marvin Mattingly.
A service to celebrate Quincy Ray’s life will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2 PM, at the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation will take place on Saturday, from 11 AM until the time of the service at 2 PM. He will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park privately on Monday.
