Patricia Kay Smith

Patricia K. Smith (Linton) 57, ended her battle with cancer January 4, 2017 and is in the arms of Jesus. She was a native of Louisville, KY, a 1977 graduate of Doss High School, and a member of Southeast Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William E. and Virginia Linton. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Michael; sons, Victor (Anna), and Roman; step-daughters Jennifer Jewell (Adam) and Jessica Smith; granddaughters, Claire and Caroline; sisters, Cindy Gustafson (Ron), and Sue Ann Awbrey (Steve); nephews, Shawn Woosley (Allison), Adam and Aaron Awbrey, and niece, Ashleigh Gustafson Obst (Stephen). Special thanks to “The Yayas”, Lifeline ABF, LR Ministries, and many more friends & family for all the meals, prayers, love and support this past year.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Southeast Christian Church Chapel, 920 Blankenbaker Pkwy., Louisville, KY, at 11:00 am on January 7, 2017 with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:30pm to 8:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2017at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy., Louisville, KY and from 9:00am to 11:00am on Saturday at Southeast Christian Church. Donations may be made in Patti's honor to: American Cancer Society or Hopeful Hearts Foundation.
