Pam was born on September 14,1942 in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of the late Alton King and the late Mildred King.
Pam graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Accounting. She had a successful career in banking and retired from PNC Bank. Besides her family, she gave her love and laughter to her friends and church as they always held a very special place in her heart.
Pam is survived by the love of her life, J. Nelson Knight and her two daughters, Rev. Jana Craggs (Rev. Rodney) and Amy Carroll (Jim). She also leaves behind her two grandchildren Nelson Thomas Carroll and Delaney Grace Carroll. She had a wide circle of friends and family that she loved including Mapie Jean Knight, Martha and Jimmy Allen, Wanda Salley (Ron), Tina Drozdz (Dennis), Dillon Drozdz, Sophie Drozdz, Whitney Cornett (Michael) and Josh Salley (Morgan).
The family appreciated the support and care that the staff of Barton House of Louisville provided to Pam during her last years.
Visitation will be from 11am-2pm on Wednesday September 27th in the Parlor at Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro Road, Louisville Ky 40207 (through Side Door One). Services will follow at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Christ Church United Methodist.
Should friends desire, contributions may be sent in her memory to Christ Church United Methodist – marked for Pam Knight afterschool program.
