Nora Killebrew Thompson

Nora Lucille Chambliss Killebrew Thompson age 57 of Breckinridge, Co. KY passed away at UofL Health Mary and Elizabeth hospital on February 21, 2022. She was born August 1,1964 in Louisville, KY to Norman and Delores Chambliss. Nora was a retired Sheet Metal Worker in the Local Union 110.

She attended Goshen Baptist Church in Glen Dean, KY.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles David Killebrew. Her father Norman A. Chambliss Jr., grandparents Norman Sr. and Lucille Chambliss, Raymond Rusch and Pearl Hadden. Her Father-in- law Carroll Thompson. Her nephew Justin Ward.

Nora is survived by her husband Ronald “Ron” Thompson. Her children Kym (John) Lammers, Kyle (Sarah) Killebrew. Her seven grandchildren; Karson, Parcus , Brennon, Walker, Averi, Kylee and Knox. Her Mother Delores Rusch. Her Mother-in-law Loretta Thompson. Her sister Norma (Mark) Ward. Her brother- in- Law Glenn (Lisa ) Thompson, sister- in -law Lynette Eaton. Her Nieces and Nephews; Brandon Ward, Travis (Kaitlyn) Ward, Madeline (Jordan) Murphy, Robbie Eaton, Craig Thompson and Ryan Thompson. Many great nieces and great nephews.

Nora loved spending time at her home on their farm looking at her beautiful yard from her front porch. She loved spending time taking care of all of her rescue animals. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely. She enjoyed hunting and being at the lake. She spent many years coaching softball. Nora was a Mrs. fix-it who could do it all.

Nora would have been honored to know that she was able help in the end by donating some of her organs to help others. Nora will be missed by many.

All are welcome to join in a celebration of her life on Sunday February 27th from 1:00pm to 6:00pm with a memorial service at 6:00pm.
