57, of Louisville, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2011 at his residence.
He was retired from the Ford Motor Company and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Foster Edward Shannon.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Shannon; children, Lisa Rhodes (Tom), Todd Shannon (Katrina) and Chad Shannon (Sara); his mother, Flossie Arnetta Shannon; brothers, Joe and Dallas Shannon; grandchildren, Andrew, Kenzie, Austin, Kody, Alex, Nathan and Madison.
Michael's Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.
