Michael Ray Redmon, 76, of Louisville passed away on October 8, 2022. He was born on December 2, 1945 to the late Edmund and Marie Redmon. He is also preceded in death by his son Michael R. Redmon II.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years Gale, grandson Michael R. Redmon III (Emily), and great grandchildren Elizabeth, Ethan, and Elliott.
Michael was a member of Southeast Christian Church for over 30 years (and loved being an usher during services.) He worked the majority of his career at Stone Container as a manager and supervisor. During his down time he enjoyed volunteering at church, working in his shop restoring old furniture, and most of all spending time with his family.
His grandson Michael III (Emily), precious great grandchildren Elizabeth, Ethan, and Elliot were the apple of his eye. They held a special place in his heart and would make him smile even on his bad days.
Michael never met a stranger and was always wanting to help anyone he could. One of his goals in life was to be a good Christian man and to help those he could. He was an avid UK fan and certainly left a great impact on this world.
I would like to thank his grandson Michael III and sister in law Pamela Goff (Ron), who all took their time to help anytime it was needed.
Expressions of sympathy may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
