Melissa Irene Cline

Missy was born to the late Eleanor Fahringer.

Here to cherish her memory is her husband, David Cline, father, James Luther Fahringer, and many others who were also considered her family.

Missy loved gaming, crafting, watching movies, and socializing with family and friends.

Everything about Missy exuded joy and cheer. She loved tie-dye, bright colors, k-pop, anything shiny, glittery or having to do with cats. She was a kid at heart and had a boundless spiritual energy and a playfulness which couldn’t be suppressed. Missy had a broad group of people who loved her, whom she considered her own family. Every greeting came with a hug and genuine affection. She had an authentic respect and concern for all living creatures and an appreciation for the power of prayer.

A visitation for Melissa will be held Friday, August 4, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service will follow visitation on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
