Maurice A. Waits, 70 of Louisville passed on May 20, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Janice Waits and his brother, Lindon Waits.

Maurice is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Ann; children Teresa Swain, Forrest Waits (Shannon) and Maurice A. Waits II (Krystal); grandchildren Chad and Lisa Rupe, Hunter Swain, Leland Waits, Tessa and Avah Waits; brother Donald Waits (Rita) and Brenda Underwood (Rick).

The Waits Family thanks Dr. Jane Cornett and the staff at Nazareth Home for the care and compassion of their father.

In lieu of flowers, gifts to American Cancer Society or National Stroke Association appreciated.

Visitation is Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Arch L. Heady Resthaven from 3 to 8 pm.

A celebration of Maurice’s life is Thursday at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery.
