He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Nola; two sons: Thomas Clifford, Michael Lee (Lana) Lausman, one daughter Marsha Outlaw and a stepson, Donald (Linda) Tailleart. Marvin is also survived by 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his previous wife, Helen Knust Lausman, his son Dennis and son in-law Frank Outlaw. Marvin was the founder and owner of Lausman Oil Company, which he ran successfully for 50 years.
He was a member of Bethel St. Paul and a charter member of St. Andrew UCC. He was dedicated to the church and a devoted father. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed following University of Kentucky and was a past president of Hikes Point Optimist Club, where he was in charge of little league baseball. He enjoyed fishing, boating and traveling with his best friend and wife Nola.
Visitation is from 6 pm until time of service at 7 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville.
Expression of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
