I am a fortunate person because I had the opportunity to work closely with Marvin in his role of supporting the City of Graymoor-Devondale's Police Department and City Council. While his professional experience benefited our city in so many ways, it was his caring values and sense of humor that made our city a better place to live. On numerous occasions it was his smile that brightened my day.

Marvin was a joy to work with during his years at Kroger in his role as Security Manager.  He and I worked on several opportunities together over the years  and he always looked for a positive outcome when possible.    His smile could like up a room and he had some great stories to tell from his days on the police department as well as with Kroger.  
My thoughts and prayers are with you,  his family, during this very difficult time in your lives.

I knew Curley on JCPD, most particularly when he was an arson investigator. Also knew and worked with him during his time at Kroger. I grew up with his younger brother Mike in Old Louisville. I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Curly's passing.  He was the best neighbor and I enjoyed our many lengthy conversations at the fence.  He loved his family and he loved his community.  He will be greatly missed.  My deepest sympathy goes to his family.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Curly Bray. He was a truly great guy and one of the most "stand up" men I've ever known. I met him in the stores when he worked security and when I went t work at UFCW 227 he was always fair to the people in the Kroger stores. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rick & Theresa Kaiser
